So a couple of weeks back some friends of mine (yes all Cheap Eatz members) were invited to J’s house for a poor man’s dinner. What a great idea!
The hightlight of the evening was J’s main meal recipe, an invention created by her uncle a long time ago when he was a bachelor learning to cook for himself. He entered the recipe in a Kraft Dinner contest and won. His recipe was officially printed, years ago, on a recipe index card. I was given permission to reprint this recipe. Warning, this is not gourmet but its good stick to the ribs cheap home eating.
