I don’t even remember where I got this recipe, I just ripped it out of a pamphlet I got in the mail. But I had to share it because it is just too yummy looking. Make it tonight so its ready for New Year’s Eve. Mine is in the fridge infusing as we speak!
2 fine slices of lemons
2 fine slices of oranges
750ml of vodka
1 cup maple syrup
2 branches of rosemary
In a hermetically tight jar add all the ingredients and let it rest in the fridge for 3 weeks. Filter before serving in a chilled glass.
Well I did half the recipe so I just had to show off my ‘antique’ maple syrup serving pitcher. And in the front is the sugar deposit from the past maple syrup that was stored and forgotten in it. Not pretty but makes a nice candy he he.
Yummy…too bad I’m not receiving this New Years Eve…Oh, well…I guess I’ll make a small batch just for me! What’s a swiggle of maple syrup vodka every other day gonna do to me???
Love love love infused vodka, liquor, syrup… drinks.
My friend Chris is putting vanilla beans in vodka for 6 months. I think he inspired from Michael Smith.
I think I got drunk looking at your photo. In other words: sign me up!!
