• 1 cup salted butter or vegan butter
  • 5.28 oz 150 gr Medjool dates, pitted (or 1/3 of the date paste recipe above)
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon


  • In a bowl, cover the Medjool dates with very hot water for 15 min, and drain.
  • Make sure your butter is at room temperature. Add the Medjool dates, butter, and cinnamon to a food processor with an "S" blade. Start to slowly process, scraping down the sides, until the Medjool dates are well and evenly chopped into the butter.
  • Spoon the date butter into an airtight container and keep in the fridge. Can be frozen.
