Tequila Mocking Eye, ha ha ha, get it?
A little play on literature in a creepy way. I love martinis and this is a fun Halloween version where to eyes look back at you.
They are simply made from partially peeled radishes with a little hole where you insert a pimento olive.
This Tequila Mocking Eye Martini drink is sure to creep up on you in a pleasant way!
Tequila Mocking Eye
A spooky Halloween Cocktail
Ingredients
- 2 radishes
- 2 olives stuffed with red pimento
- 2 oz Gold tequila
- 1/2 oz dry vermouth
Instructions
- Peel most of the red skin of the radishes, leaving a bit to imitate a bloodshot eye ball.
- With a vegetable knife cut a whole just big enough to insert half of an olive.
- Combine Tequila and vermouth in a shaker, mix for 20 seconds. Pour in a chilled martini glass. Add the eyes
Even though I don’t really drink..I love the bloody, veiny radish-olive eyeballs and they will surely be making an appearance in my non-alcoholic drinks…like Virgin Mary’s, throughout the year, for fun!
That is so spooky……wonderful idea!
That is one trippy-looking cocktail! Very original, and definitely a little spooky.
