I am stuffed, from the holidays. Of course ate too much. And so much turkey. I usually don’t have that much over the holidays but this year, OMG!
I even cooked my first turkey ever…..a small one though. I do want to share a recipe. I made a different and delicious gravy, a mix of found recipes with my own twist. Here it is:
Balsamic Cranberry Gravy
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups of stock (chicken, turkey)
12 oz bag of fresh cranberries
1 tsp thyme
1/3 cup sugar
2 tbsp of balsamic vinagar
2 tsp of butter
2 tsp of corn starch
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Bring first 5 ingredients to a boil and simmer till most cranberries have popped.
Melt butter a bit and mix in corn starch.
Add to stock mixture and boil a bit for it to thicken.
Salt and pepper to taste
Pass everything in a blender and voila .
It was a hit when I served it
Hugs and biscuits
