Did you know that 2017 is Montreal’s 375th birthday? If you ever wanted to visit Montreal now is the time! Plus the city’s calendar is jam packed with food events!

Today is my birthday !!!!!! And Montreal is turning 375 to this year. Since it is my birthday I want to give you all a gift: an invitation to come visit Montreal this summer…maybe we can break bread together too? Montreal’s 375th activity calendar is jammed packed for the entire year and summer also means it is time for so many annual food events which will serve up an extra slice of oomph to celebrate. Désirez-vous une tranche de gâteau aux noix et pêches?

Êtes-vous régulièrement une victime de la rage de sucre de 15 heures? Une tranche de ce gâteau aux noix et pêches, avec votre tasse préférée de café ou de thé, sera certainement comblé vos besoins.

Assise à mon bureau, je ressens une crise de manque d’énergie presque tous les jours de travail pendant l’après-midi. Les chances sont que si je regarde l’horloge, il est probablement à peu près 15 heures. J’ai besoin d’un peu de sucre, d’un petit coup de fouet, pour terminer la journée. Ce gâteau aux noix et pêches est une alternative plus saine à comparer à un morceau de gâteau ordinaire, en raison des protéines dand les noix et de la dose de fruits dans chaque tranche.

J’ai presque honte de dire que cette recette est mon dessert d’urgence depuis des années quand le temps presse, et pourtant je ne l’ai jamais partagé sur ce blogug avant. Pourquoi n’ai-je pas partagé avec vous avant cette recette divine de Diplomate Pêches et Crème? J’avais peur que vous me jugiez parce que c’est tellement facile et rapide à faire. Mais c’est aussi l’un de mes dessert le plus constamment demandé . Parfois la grandeur vient de la simplicité.

Marshmallow Ice Cream & How Social Media Saved my Ass

Marshmallows are not just for campfires in the summer. Oh no! They can also be mixed in with your coolest estival treat to become Marshmallow Ice Cream.

Here is a new unusual ice cream to add to my long list of exotic frozen treats. Marshmallow ice cream reminds us of camping, summer, lakes and all that good stuff. Marshmallow ice cream also evoke scary story telling around the campfire.

Therefor I am taking this post hostage to recite my scary spooky urban tale (the story is scary, not were I live as people have misunderstood) where two friends answered my bat signal for help in the middle of the night. Also we could not have have come out victorious without all of today’s modern technology. And so the tale begin….

Expo Manger Santé et Vivre Vert 2016

One of my favorite Montreal events is here: the Expo Manger Santé et Vivre Vert. It’s a great event to learn about eco food trends and try lots of food samples.

At the 19th edition of the Expo Manger Santé et Vivre Vert, health food, ecology and global health enthusiasts will be able to treat all their senses on March 11-12-13 at the Palais des congrès in Montréal and March 19-20 at the Centre des congrès in Québec City! More than 30,000 visitors in those two cities are expected to attend the largest Spring food and health event in Québec.
